"It went down in the Madison Police annals as found property. It's not a crime to drop bullets..."

The leniency of the police toward the recent protests belongs in the record books.

To a gunowner, it's a crime to not pick them back up.

I wonder what they think about people mailing flour in envelopes?

At least give the illusion of impartiality by calling it litter.

O for the days when liberals cried foul over selective enforcement.

Sue Riseling is the Kevin Na of law enforcement.

So they would be okey dokey with people dropping bullets around a Mosque.

Sure.

I've got to remember the "but there are always bullets layin' around" defense if I ever see it on Law & Order.
Ripped from the Isthmus Headlines!

Was somebody trying to send a message during the protests, which were boisterous but largely peaceful?

Ha. Largely peaceful = kinda pregnant. Look, they were either peaceful or not peaceful.

Was somebody trying to send a message during the protests,

Message: Jared Loughner is here.

Don't you just hate when that happens?

It probably belonged to the police, who were demonstrating that they would not fire on anyone who broke into the building. Peace, man.

Because it makes so much sense for protesters to scatter .22 shells around where they're protesting. Around heavy security. Which accomplishing nothing, make them look bad. The only thing it did accomplish was more heavy security and metal detectors to enter the Capitol.

hey.....wait a minute! This wouldn't be of Walker's "Troublemaker" schemes he talked to fake Koch about, would it?

The bullets were of an Obama kinetic caliber.. completely harmless.

The kind the democrats issue to target the national debt.

"We'll throw our baseballs in your yard".

ie. know that we were on your property last night, undetected and in striking distance of you and your family.

Thats how we know the Union Thugs spread the ammo around. Its their typical indimidation MO.

Good. It shouldn't be a crime to drop bullets.

The Madison Police are right. Crimes are lines we cannot cross. Non-crimes are outside of those lines. Getting the arrest of your political enemy for something close is the oldest known abuse of criminal law.

What would happen, I wonder, if someone tried to claim the bullets.

The Madison Police are right

As TMink said, try it with a Mosque and see what it gets you.

Its the same double standard that police will use to keep non-union folk from holding the capitol building the way the union was just allowed to.

Yes sounds like Miss Galthouse misses the old days when like Madison thugs with badges might have rolled a bunch of freaks

Uh huh. To intimidate who? Other protesters?

I don't think he was actually suggesting someone try scattering bullets near a mosque, he was just saying that if something like that happened, it would be a huge deal that would be fully investigated. It certainly wouldn't be shrugged of as "found property". The point being that there is a blatant double standard at work.

Bullets should be safely kept in a gun's chamber.

I wouldn't have said this 3 months ago but I'll say it now... I worry for Sarah Palin's safety in Madison, WI. People are unhinged and the cops are looking the other way.

No question about that.

That's because some people like it that way.

The insanity of allowing the police to unionize is what belongs in the record books.

"It's not a crime to drop (live) bullets".

So much for the current state of law enforcement.

Nice work, DEMONcrats. Just when everyone figures you've sunk to the lowest rung, you manage to surprise us and find one lower.

If they had been found at the site of a recent Tea Party rally, they would be evidence of the extremism and violence of Tea Partiers.

I love how Garage just flails ridiculously. He shrugs and ask how could the unions possibly use this to intimidate anyone?

Which is just a ridiculous level of benefit of doubt.

But he also said he thinks this was a conspiracy between Walker and Koch to frame troublemakers, which is worse than absurdly paranoid because it's totally disproven. Walker didn't even know what Koch's voice sounds like, and said that kind of thing was a bad idea.

Garage is so shameless in his shilling that I guess he's actually given up. Most shills will at least try to appear to be reasonable, instead of just spamming nonsense.

Dropping bullets?

Makes me think about Hansel and Gretel...

And breadcrumbs!

Compare and contrast by Monday morning, please. :)

How do you know it was Union protesters and, say, not Tea Partiers who dropped them?
