Ann, you must not like basketball... cause these men in shorts are breathtaking... not to mention the fantastic game that is just about to begin !

Go Celtics..

For a kid, that looks like a great place to daydream.

For adults, also a nice place to ... daydream.

Very nice, Madame. Once again, you've taken me back to one of the cherished times of my boyhood.

i just realized what part of Ann's men in shorts problem may be ... she's letting the legs distract from the butt. tragic error.

Garage - that link you sent on the other thread to the oil blog floored me. It just about made me throw up.

Lem, when is Boston going to learn how to rebound ?

Btw, that pic of a disheveled Bobby Jindal on Drudge right now is tugging at my heartstrings too.

Me too. Who knows though if it's true. Neither BP or our government are being straight with us, so how would we know?

The Celtics are not playing like they are going to win.. so far.

They better up their game.

Holy cow! Toy Story 3 has 81 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and all of them are fresh.

Artest is choking already.

Unknown said...

choking ? are you kidding me. Artest is probably the highest scorer on the lakers in the first half.

we need rebounds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unknown said...

just as i suspected -- Artest leads ALL scorers with 14.

Ray Allen cant shoot today.

It's quite silly to look at men in those big baggy basketball jammies and think you're getting an eyefull of masculine thigh and buttock.

Rondo!!

MVP?

How settling those photos are. Glad to see them, especially now because I just had a very stressful experience.

It was an unsatisfying and unproductive shopping trip to my local Theological Wal-Mart.

They had an Eckhart Tolle - Ophah Winfrey New Age Combo Pack available at the Rollback price of $49. But the back cover of the package said that there were rules; namely, I'd have to LIVE in the NOW (uh... wha'?) and watch daytime TV (sorry, don't own a set). Scratch that.

Then I went over to the Catholicism section. The store was obviously overstocked, likely because of all the dirty criminal priest shit that's been going down. A cheap $29 bucks a pop. The rules on the back cover said that I needed to get up early on Sunday, or at least give up a Saturday afternoon, eat little cannibal cookies... fine, fine... but then I saw a big sign that said "NO SEX OUTSIDE MARRIAGE AND NO REFUNDS" and bolted out the door for the nearest Hypocrisy Cafe.

They serve joints Amsterdam-style at the Hypocrisy Cafe, and they don't sell religion, so it all felt a lot better.

Besides... Don't you think that religion ought to at least feel like it comes from God or the Divine rather than a Theological Wal-Mart? If I'm gonna get swept away in belief, I would hope to feel completely swept away, not feel like I'm buying something.

Now let's say I were walking through the desert and a light from heaven flashed around me and God started speaking to me and I was blind for three days afterward. That's how I want it to be! And if you are going to tell me that no, it's not like that, that it's never going to be like that, that I'm just a rational economic consumer pushing a cart in my local megastore; well, I think I'd get a little defensive then, because I'd feel like you were taking a little bit of my humanity (and my connection to the eternal) away.

Sorry for the interruption. I know there is a basketball game or something on tonight... But basketball in the second half of June? That's just too late... Who made that rule?

Whomever did-- well, God should strike him down!

silly ? Ann, I think your eyesight must be going. or you're thinking about the Larry Birds and the Danny Ainge's ...

jammies ?

Paul Pierce will be MVP if Boston wins. Rondo is playing well tonight though, thankfully. he missed like 5 layups in game 6.

the celtics are like a new team tonight. tuesday night i had to just turn the TV off.

The cheering of the announcers for the Lakers is bordering on professional misconduct.

Unknown said...

Lem ... c'mon ! no such bias is apparent. They love Kobe, but It is true that Kobe is the best player in the league ... but Kobe isnt doing much tonight, thanks to the Celtics defense.

If i were commenting, I'd be harder on the Celtics' *pathetic* rebounding performance.

Unknown said...

sigh. if only the celtics could get a freakin rebound.... pathetic.

well, congrats to the Lakers.

Unknown said...

i cant stand how the league always trots out Kobe's family in painful attempts to try to continue to rehabilitate his image. very annoying. everyone remembers that case a few years ago.
