Still not regretting canceling my HBO subscription.

Dammit, Keaton should be playing you in a big Althouse biopic instead of some lame gossip columnist I've never heard of. The egg-salad scene alone would make it Oscar-worthy.

What a missed opportunity.

I like Diane Keaton. I hope this will be worth watching. It will probably suffer by comparison to Curb Your Enthusiasm, though.

Keaton can carry it off no matter how bad the writers write. She is a special lady.

Thanks, Maguro, now I can't stop picturing Althouse and Meade in the subtitle scene from Annie Hall.

Knowing HBO, I presume we can all look forward to many nude scenes featuring Ms. Keaton and the expansion of her vocabulary of four letter words.

She was pretty good in "Little Drummer Girl", although it's not a picture you'd associate with her.

WV "outfib" What Barney Frank and Pelosi Galore are always doing to each other.

Keaton usually plays an outgoing, self confident, all woman, control freak. Where else can you get that much out of a single actress?

I prefer Stana Katic as Nikki Heat

I've read Nikki Finke's blog a few times, but I barely know who she is and wouldn't care that a series is about her. I remember reading that Parker Posey's character in "You've Got Mail" was based on Judith Regan. Okay, so what?

I feel bad for Ann Johnson.

Gotta say I had never heard on Mikki Finke.

Can't say I going to rush over there.

Women like her. She was fabulous in Godfather but has started playing to type lately. Women with still successful careers at her age in Hollywood are pretty rare, so I give her a lot of credit for that.

I saw Diane Keaton at the flea market in Long Beach a few summers ago. She was wearing an Annie Hall-style hat (it was about 80 degrees), long pants, and a skirt.
