Isn't there a good comedy scene to be in the port-a-john when the boat starts sinking? I think so...

Reminds me of the ferry that crosses the MIssissippi at Cassville.

The flag is so they don't draw fire from the Kentucky side as they approach.

Isn't there a good comedy scene to be in the port-a-john when the boat starts sinking? I think so...Yes, this is an excellent idea. I think the person in the port-a-john has to have irritable bowel syndrome, exacerbated by the stress of the ferry crossing. So he is stuck in the port-a-john for the duration of the crossing. The ferry sinks. The port-a-john, because the density of the lower part of it (liquid, chemicals, low-fat-content loaves, etc.) remains upright and floats away from the sinking ferry. The IBS guy in the port-a-john is the sole survivor.

The photo could lead one to believe the port-a-john is the ferry

Looks like the kid's trying to toss the porta-john overboard.

When I was a kid, I misheard that song for years as "so very cross and mersey," since I didn't know the Mersey is a river.

The Port-o-let sits over the hole were the old one used to be.

Did anyone else recognize that kid from the Midvale School for the Gifted?

Then of course there is the out house (port-a-john?) in Jurassic Park ....

But that wasn't on the water.
