I'm free!

Did you notice? I didn't say one word about it.

No, I still haven't noticed. There's the Paypal and Amazon buttons, some ads... I don't understand. Haven't been following something closely enough, I guess. Well, congratulations, anyway. And, like I always say, if I can't be free, I can at least be cheap.

Once the shark has been jumped, there is pretty much no turning back...

To not watch this mediocre bunch of guys is no sacrifice, but I'll be more impressed (make that surprised) if you also don't watch the women sing tonight.

Oh, I watched ... I just didn't write about it.

I ff'd through a lot of the singing, and I was cooking while watching... so it didn't really consume any time.

I'm free... I'm free,
And freedom tastes of reality,

I'm free... I'm free,
And I'm waiting for you to follow me.

Freedom tastes of reality... TV?

Does this refer to your NYT columns?

or, following Palladian, are you reviving your role as The Acid Queen in a Badger production of Tommy?

When will you turn four?

SunDance Head did a lousy version of Whiter Shade of Pale last week. It was offkey and he looked dreadful but he was somehow so powerful all the way through it that it didn't matter.

The rest are frauds and whippersnappers. Sundance Head is amazing: I wish that I had heard Mustang Sally. I'll try to find a You Tube version.

Actually, it was Nights in White Satin, is the name of the song he choked on last week. But even that choke was memorable.

Cooking, watching, and effing at the same time. My, my. What a multitasker.
