Using Loretta Lynch to say the Mateen transcript would be redacted.

Embarrassing.

The outrage was predictable. The full transcript was released. Why was Lynch used like that? She was on all the Sunday shows, in the manner of Susan Rice. So avoidable!

Jarrett, that's who.

Who will remember that the whole thing is a nothing event in the scheme of things. It just happens to be entertaining enough to hold the TV narrative for a few days, where auto crashes are not.

"Why was Lynch used like that? She was on all the Sunday shows, in the manner of Susan Rice. So avoidable!" 1. Worth a shot. Progs and MSM might have been able to hold the anti-gun anti-Christian line. 2. The Rice lie pretty much worked the first time. Deflected responsibility from O just enough during campaign season, tied the Republicans in knots, and as a result gave Progs a handy anti-GOP narrative 3. Rice and Lynch are willing tools.

O/T, but WTH?:
"The Forward today is calling attention to the continuing anti-Semitic harassment on social media (mainly Twitter) of Jewish journalists (or those perceived to be Jewish). The anti-Semitic messages have often come in response to journalists' coverage of Donald Trump's campaign. A June 7 Washington Post piece has examples. The Forward says:
Online bullying is a non-partisan activity — both the far left and the far right are quite good at it — but the virulent anti-Semitism many journalists experience today comes from what is known as the “alt-right,” shadowy white supremacists who mainly hide behind the anonymity of Twitter to traffic in horrible Holocaust imagery and directly threaten Jews.
Many of these threats draw on connections with Trump’s presidential campaign, using Trump’s image and targeting his critics, including several of our regular writers. Even if you don’t believe that the presumed Republican standard bearer has stoked this cyber-hate (which is a generous assumption), you have to admit that he appears to have done nothing to minimize or condemn it.
As a symbolic protest, The Forward says it will refuse for 24 hours (starting tomorrow) to publish anything mentioning Trump's name or his campaign."

The assumption is that Obama was being clever and had some strategy. He isn't and doesn't beyond the literal obvious--keep the focus on guns. Obama likely thinks his approach worked.

Lynch was used because she is a girl. A black girl. Obama used her.

O/T but WTF!!

Hillary support went to Las Vegas to kill Trump. He practiced shooting at a range, drove to LV went to where Trump was speaking and tried to kill him.

When will the Libs finally admit their violent rhetoric and constant demonizing of the man has created a real atmosphere of hate.

It's time to ban the H symbol. It's time the media refuses to cover the hate speech of democrats and time for Hillary to stand up and condemn her supporters and to stop stoking the fire of hate.

He wants you to become so inspired by his Lightworkingness that you come to understand, past your racist ways, that even a void is able to Obama.

This was so stupid it hurts.

It reminds me of just how dumb Obama is. He's done so many dumb things during his Presidency that the media have been working overtime to cover it up for him.

Tomorrow we'll learn that he's the bestest President ever and they'll run news stories telling us just how bitchen he is. And they'll leave this huge unforced error right off the pages.

This way, most people will forget just what an idiot we elected for President.

Let me preface this by saying any shots that happened that night are completely his fault. But it is odd they are still saying they don't know how many people were killed by the police, because the autopsies are all completed.

This was a joint FBI-DOJ release, and since the redactions were political (and thus arguably important to the DOJ but of little utility for the FBI), how about this as a scenario:
1. Lynch makes exec decision to issue transcript with redactions (after getting sign-off from Jarrett, allowing Obama to plausibly deny involvement);
2. After outrage surfaces (except where it should have: CNN, WaPo, NYT -- all perfectly untroubled, to their disgrace), FBI, having had a particularly bad last 8 days, decides it no longer needs this additional aggravation... and mutinous rumblings begin. Lynch backs down and the result is a humiliating reversal. If Obama himself had ordered this, I don't think there would have been a reversal, because it's not like him to admit a mistake. He would have doubled down.
I'm much more outraged at the MSM's complaisance than I am at Lynch's PC gutlessness. You expect the latter.

Moby alert. The intention here is to minimize the Obama administration’s embarrassment caused by its ridiculous censorship by offering a moral justification for the censorship.

Actually, I would agree on most of the opinion offered above in ordinary circumstances, you know, like on an average Chicago weekend … but not in terrorist situations and definitely not in this latest jihadi atrocity where the facts of the nature of this national security threat is of paramount importance.

The American public needs to know exactly what he said on the night of the carnage.

They need to know that this wasn’t a shooting directed at gays except in the sense that gay hatred is always present in Muslim societies. It’s a prominent characteristic of the culture itself. I read that he considered Disneyland for the big event but it was apparently not as soft a target as a gay nightclub with a lone security guard, probably sporting a sidearm and probably the first victim. After that, nothing to worry about but a bunch of understandably panicky drunks.

If the reports are true that he frequented the club more than he needed in order to do what he did and that he used gay hook-up apps then it wouldn’t surprise me if he was a repressed homosexual. I can easily imagine the conflict that might have been created between his repressed sexual attraction towards men and his culture’s extreme attitude towards gayness.

General Loretta Lynch had a choice to make - and she chose embarrassment; that is, if you really think that a veteran liar has the foggiest idea of what "embarrassment" even means.

Maybe. But didn’t she also choose survival? Survival at the cost of embarrassment? What would be her political future as a Democrat if she had refused and resigned? Because if Lynch had refused I believe she would have also HAD to have offered her resignation in the same breath. And I think Obama would have accepted it.

As for Susan Rice, her embarrassment may have cost her an appointment as Secretary of State to replace Hillary, but she will probably continue to have a bright political future in the Democrat party. So will Lynch, especially now that she has demonstrated her loyalty.

And Lynch’s(and Obama’s) embarrassment will be minimized by the MSM in various ways, perhaps by conflating run-of-the-mill 911 calls with an Islamic terrorist’s declarations of religious motivation – who knows?

No mystery to me. Another woman of color with the initials VJ. Or a man know as B.O.

Lynch allowed herself to be used this way. Just how is she going to handle the pressure of a Clinton indictment if she caves on this?

Sometimes those two colored women have to do a public "shucking and jiving" skit to earn their keep.

Obama hates dark-skinned women, obviously.

I don't feel bad for her. She knew she was being used. She was OK with it. Women can make their own bad decisions.

Hillary support went to Las Vegas to kill Trump. He practiced shooting at a range, drove to LV went to where Trump was speaking and tried to kill him.

That that is not major news is a powerful condemnation of our media and makes me wonder why the press warrants any level of deference or protections.
