"We're paying. We always pay. We're the sucker. We're the sucker. We're like the stupid sucker."

"And we're not going to pay anymore for all this stuff," said Donald Trump.

Donald Trump may be the first President elected by acclamation.

He's right. I'm becoming more pro-Trump every day. Cruz is still my #1, but Trump is easily my second choice.

If he wants to really lock down the West, say he'll sell most federal land to private entities.

Simple, direct. No spin. What people have been saying for decades, mostly in private. Someone with a large microphone finally calling bullshit. Exactly why people support him.

How come none of the allegedly competent politicians are saying stuff like this? Because they all rely on us being suckers, over and over again.

Shhhh, Nikki Haley says we need quieter voices. Not so loud! My poor ears.

Nikki Haley admitted today that she was talking about Trump last night when she read her GOP approved talking points and said we need to "turn down the volume". You see, if we turn down the volume, we can listen. And she has discovered that listening is better than talking. She tells us this, while talking, and not listening.

If she were listening, she might know why Trump is so freaking popular. But she isn't listening. She is attacking. And trying to turn up the volume on trump.

I feel like Ann has already written this somewhere and I'm just regurgitating it.

The elites are, rightly, scared that the public is pissed and it is directed at them. It is well-earned scorn they are dealing with. The government has lost basically all legitimacy for many people and it wouldn't take a lot of civil disobedience to really screw things up.

Hell, simply being a pain in the ass about taxes will cause massive expenditures by the IRS to try and collect...and if everybody does it, I wish them well in their efforts.

As Sailer might say, "that damn Trump keeps noticing things."

I like Haley, but she is thoroughly wrong on this. She has bitched about Obama and the encroachment of the Feds as much as anybody, but the one person who is actively seeking to dismantle some stuff she wants to stifle. Throwing her political capital behind a loser is not going to help her political career,

If you were in a foxhole with Haley, when the going got tough, she would shoot you.

As a successful Pimp, I have much respect for the Trump.

He knows what you're looking to buy, and then he is Right There in Front to Sell it to you. If you ain't Selling, you're Losing: you're losing Time, you're losing Market-share, you're losing MONEY, sucker.

If you can't stay in Front and make your own Money then you're Behind and depending on someone else's, and that makes you their Bitch. A Real Man HAS Money, a Bitch NEEDS Money, yo.

I mean, Trump don't go to the Champagne Room, he Buys the Champagne Room, know what I'm saying? You want to get a big building done, see Donald; you want to fuck an eighteen-year-old blonde with big-ass fake tits and a nipple ring, you come to Me.

Man, back in the day I thought Obama was gonna be a True Pimp, but Bro, he whines like a White Bitch. First Female President? We already got one.

I mean, I already got a Syrian refugee that tried to rape one of my Girls. If ISIS wants to Fuck with Me I'm ready to Fuck with Them, you feel me? But Obama, he's got fucking Nukes, and he ain't doing shit. Meanwhile I'm stuffing pieces of the Syrian in dumpsters around town.

I tell ya: you want to make America Great Again, you're gonna need a Pimp.

I am Laslo.

The GOP boys so don't want to see Trump to take their T-Bird away. Immigrant workers at serf status are fun, fun, fun to employers.

Haley carefully says Trump is the same as rioters in Ferguson and Baltimore. Why he uses a loud voice, and he is about to loot the GOP's Store house of influence sold from DC.

Preibus is neutral...don't laugh. He says he is a fair man running a fair game. But the Virginia GOP erected a firewall to stop Trump's wild fire, and another is being erected in South Carolina now.

But old man Preibus, he don't say nothing.

@eric, @damikesc, I think one can kiss a possible Trump-Haley goodbye.

Why go Trump-Haley when we can go Trump-Cruz, with Jeb as SecState and the other Republican candidates filling a uniquely powerful cabinet? Heck, Haley might even make a fine HHS or DoE destructor.

Why is it so difficult for politicians and government officials to state the obvious never mind see it?

Syria is an Arab and Muslim problem. Let the Arabs and Muslims solve their problem. It isn't that Trump is so brilliant, it's just that he doesn't wear blinders.

We can expand the refugee crisis by increasing our commitment to undeclared regime changes.

You would think that progressive moral or religious doctrines advanced by female chauvinists et al would have prepared German women to accept the unsolicited advances and sexual peccadillos of the culturally diverse alien population. In addition to liberal mores, they will also need to increase their commitment to constructing Planned Parenthood offices on every corner, in every neighborhood.

Yep. You know, I haven't seen a serious person who even remotely entertained the idea of Trump as vice-president. Everyone knows better than that. He either wins or he helps the winner it's inconceivable that he would be second fiddle.

Along that line, the main reason that I have always thought that Trump would never stay in is that I think the presidency would be too confining for him and serving would cost him too much money. It's not a good deal for Trump. I still say that Trump eventually gets out and endorses Cruz. He is just playing the game now on the citizenship thing. Like others said, creating uncertainty. If you look at his statements, he has never said that he did not think Cruz is a natural citizen but that the Democrats would make it an issue. Of course he is making it an issue himself, but he is not at all birther on this. He's just manipulating the media.

First of all, the majority of Syrian refugees are 3 year old orphans. You aren't going to deny entry to 3 year old orphans, are you?

What? Oh. Nevermind.

Merkel, cursed by Time magazine. Maybe she should get a Nobel Peace Prize, too. She decided on a big move that would forever be her legacy, and it backfired. There is a tipping point for assimilation. If you allow large masses of immigrants, they will never assimilate because they will never need to assimilate. It's true here in America, too. When the immigrants' culture is far different from the new culture, the immigrant culture takes on its own identity. The same thing happened in smaller pockets in American. There were Italian neighborhoods where learning English was not necessary. The big difference was that the immigrant culture wasn't significantly different from the native culture. Not so in Europe, where the patriarchy and females as property is the alternative culture.

We have the equivalent of open borders. Is that what America wants?

Damn, if only Trump would stick with stuff like this!

John Derbyshire and Mark Steyn have both been saying essentially this for quite some time now: the world sees the West (and the US in particular) as suckers. We put up with more, pay for more, underwrite more, and in generally do more for more people around the world than anyone else, and our reward is disgust abroad and at home--people in President Obama's party routinely talk about our need to apologize for our history and our present actions!
Sure, our defense spending over the decades made Western Europe's social welfare states possible, but according to the Left we should have done more.
Sure, we've got a quarter million refugees here now, take in large numbers of immigrants every year, and pay the cost (in terms of NGO $, infrastructure, and direct aid) for millions more around the world, but according to the Left we're heartless and stingy.
Sure, we pay the cost for drug development and innovation by paying more for new drugs so that the rest of the world can free ride and pay close to the marginal cost of production for life saving medicine, but the Left says our patent laws are too generous and our pharmacy corps. are too greedy.
Sure, our Navy and troops stationed around the world allow for free trade, freedom of navigation, and global markets generally, but the Left says we're war mongers who only want to kill and exploit poor people.

Anyway, we're suckers. We let ourselves be taken advantage of AND THEN we get called names/hated. It's the worst of both worlds, and lots of us see it and are fed up. Beyond that, we're too broke to be this stupid, now. At exactly the time the European model is failing our Left is pushing hard to make us more and more like Europe. It's dumb and there's really no excuse at this point.

If Trump runs on a platform of "if you're tired of being a sucker, of being lied to, of being told you're the problem/you're what's wrong with America, vote for me" he could sure fire up a lot of people...

I picture all the candidates with a PR guy in their right arm and a lawyer on their left and a money man whispering in their ear. How could they hear America? even America screaming? Lower our voices? The POLITICIANS CAN'T HEAR US YET!!!LOUDER!!! LOUDER!!!THEY CAN'T HEAR US YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they hear the Donald. I notice that. Yeah, they hear the Donald say Hillary is a liar, Bill is a predator enabled by Hillary, Islamic extremism is a danger. But why does the Donald have support????? WHY????, they moan and sob among the rocks

So hard is it for the KnowItAll all-party caucus to know what everyone knows.

Interesting that in this video Tromp was speaking in a normal way, not his usual yelling and over-the-top screaming. Maybe he figures he's gotten our attention. Now he wants to show that he's not the mad man his opponents say he is.
