"Which doctor is smarter about Hillary Clinton: Matt Drudge or a doctor?"

Asks WaPo's Philip Bump, who consults a doctor, his own doctor, to question whether Hillary Clinton has hypothyroidism.
"One would expect if they were hypothyroid there would be an inability to function under duress for an extended period of time because the level of octane in the bloodstream is low," [Philip Bump's doctor] said. "The fact that she was able to withstand that intensity for 11 hours is probably a test to show that she has normal thyroid function."
But, as Bump's update admits, it's an easily researched fact that Hillary Clinton has been diagnosed by her own doctor as having hypothyroidism. So who's smarter, indeed?

The top-rated comments at WaPo are cruel: "How embarrassing. The Washington Post didn't do their fact checking and Drudge had to inform them. Pathetic." "It's LITERALLY linked on their website... 'In summary, Mrs. Clinton is a healthy female, with hypothyroidism.'" "Wow, you'd think someone who calls himself a reporter would do a little bit of fact-checking before scurrying to prop up Democrat talking points."

Even the best propping-up of Hillary comes from the comments: "If Hillary... by chance were unwell, what would it say about the Committee that a sick old lady whupped them?" That was written, by one "Owkrender" at 10/23/2015 11:07 AM CDT. Approximately 3 hours later, WaPo put up "Clinton’s curse and her salvation: Her enemies":
That was proved once again during her 11-hour inquisition by the House Select Committee on Benghazi, a Republican-engineered train wreck from which she emerged without a scratch.

Pale, hoarse and weary as she was, the former secretary of state left the hearing room looking stronger than she has at any point since she announced her second campaign for president....
I'm completely distracted by "Pale, hoarse." I mean, don't people have the kind of basic knowledge of The Bible that would keep them from putting those 2 words together?

The "Pale Horse" is death!
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
Pale, hoarse... as she was....

And Hillary is also the weak horse that bin Laden referenced.

People need to wise up. The Chinese and Russians have ALL her emails. What kind of blackmail material is in them?

Hillary Clinton must be defeated.
Carthage must be destroyed.

Drudge understands the damage that the Benghazi hearings did to the Republican's presidential hopes. Hillary was sharper and had more stamina than any of the men interrogating her. All the memes about her being too old are now finished as political weapons.

He will keep humping this line of attack but it is neutralized or even now in her favor.

a doctor talks about octane in blood? really? what kind of doctor is that?

I am more worried about her having another cerebral ventricular thrombosis. or, as the American Heart association calls it, a stroke.

she's had one and is at high risk of another.

Those who support Hillary do it out of the same near-religious support for the party and it's increasingly radical-leftist beliefs. They wanted a historic symbol in 2008 and they got one in Obama. They didn't want to hear about his failures in his first term and doubled down in 2012. The same dynamic is likely to play out in 2016. They want another historic symbol.

Unfortunately, the policies and programs of Obama and Hillary have failed and will continue to fail. Their supporters don't care. They want to be part of history. That's the only result that matters to them.

OK, that was funny.

Meanwhile, I went to bed a little depressed last night about the damage that has been done to my country during my lifetime. All self inflicted. Will I die before it explodes? Maybe. Or maybe it won't explode, just continue to sink into a thoroughly mediocre third world like crooked country that is nothing like the truly great shining city on a hill that it once was.

Hypothyroidism is treated with a pill once a day. Big deal.

Hillary's earlier stroke and her advanced age will make her VP choice critical. Will it be the young Hispanic and untested former mayor of San Antonio? God help us.

I can take your points about "young" and "untested," but what does "Hispanic" have to do with anything?

It ain't the Thyroid, it's the Vodka.

Hillary is a Drunk.

The "Three AM Call" is her, dialing out for still more Vodka.

She is in a constant state of black-out, which enables her to lie with ease, since she cannot remember what anything resembling the Truth was.

For Hillary a Screwdriver is breakfast because you know: orange juice.

Yah. This is pretty much it. But she still looks tired, and by her own admission, is tired.

Hypothyroidism most often affects middle-aged and older women. Hillary!
It is not difficult to treat—one replacement pill of Synthroid a day will render the patient euthyroid.

When Hillary testified on Thursday before the Benghazi Committee her thyroid level was within normal limits. No competent physician would allow a patient to remain hypothyroid. But without replacement hormone, Hillary would be hypothyroid because she carries the diagnosis of hypothyroidism.

Could be why Hillary wears those wide collars. Some with the condition cannot tolerate anything close around the neck.

Pillory Hillary!!

Humans are hard wired for religion (As I wrote in the last thread). We see what yours is. I hope it brings you comfort in the trying years ahead.

"I can take your points about "young" and "untested," but what does "Hispanic" have to do with anything?"

It explains why he was chosen, just like how Obama was chosen.

Responding poster: "It explains why he was chosen, just like how Obama was chosen."

Nice comeback, and the original poster should be grateful to you. The only thing is, the use of "Hispanic" is being made parallel with "young" and "untested," so I think my original point stands.

I guess the whole thing is supposed to be part of the meme that liberals obsess about race/ethnicity, and conservatives obsess about liberals' obsession with race/ethnicity.

Hypothyroidism can be treated successfully in most cases.

When you don't have an argument you go to nonsense. Not the obvious strategy for an educated man but all too common nonetheless.

If she has hypothyroidism she might also be on hypothyroid medication. And so, would not exhibit as many symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Generally, if you have a condition and you take medicine for the condition, the symptoms are somewhat alleviated. Which is why you take the medication.

I'm no doctor of course. But I think that's how it works.

It's very interesting to me how the media have made themselves into judges. Hillary won! We declare it as so, therefore it is!

They are going to try and drag her over the finish line, kicking and screaming.

This will be a test of how powerful the media is. Can they do for the Clinton in the 21st century what they did for them in the 20th century?

I hope not.

Hillary was tranqed like a New Jersey racehorse.

And last time I looked, humans don't HAVE octane, no matter what the doctor says.

An observation is not "an obsession." Do you know another reason Obama was chosen ? Or why Castro might be chosen "

Johnny Cash's commentary is in "The Man Comes Around."

Spoken:

And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder:
One of the four beasts saying: "Come and see." And I saw.
And behold, a white horse. ...

Refrain:

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree.
The virgins are all trimming their wicks.
The whirlwind is in the thorn tree.
It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Spoken coda:

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts,
And I looked and behold: a pale horse.
And his name, that sat on him, was Death.
And Hell followed with him.

Carter Woods, that intro was the first thing I thought, too. But the song I most associate with Hillary is God's Gonna Cut You Down

Hillary was shown to have been derelict in her duty, ignoring hundreds of emails requesting security assistance from Ambassador Stevens before the attack.

Hillary was shown to have lied outright to the American public following the death of Ambassador Stevens.

Her victory was showing the American public she doesn't give a damn about his death, or about being shown to be incompetent as SecState, or about lying to the public.

What a victory! It bodes well for her presidency, which will make Obama look like FDR's public image, and Carter look like Lincoln!
