Reality/narrative disconnect.

Will gehtto be a child-free zone as well? If not, how will they enforce "no-straights" discrimination without determining the orientation of the kids?

Both.

NO NO NO.

Neither.

It's The Netherlands after all.

Logical result. I'm all for it.

The project dubbed “Gay Village” by developers aims to give members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community

That any other these groups have anything in common other than the fact that (Muslim) gangs like to beat them up is highly doubtful. Are there any two groups more dissimilar than gay men & lesbians in what they'd want in a self-contained community?

That the LGBTQ community has some inner bond ranks up there with as a modern lefty fantasy right behind "All brown people have solidarity with other brown people".

I am curious about these gangs that are targeting members of the LGBT community. Could the paper perhaps provide some info on any possible reason for their targeting of LGBTs in such a famouly tolerant country?

Then there was that lesbian couple who left for the Dutch bible belt. They no longer felt safe walking hand in hand in Amsterdam.

Question, how will the queers sock it in the eye of those "intolerant bible believers" in the queers own gated community? Will they have to hire straigths for "diversity" and rigtheous fun?

A new gay-owned establishment has...popped up...in Barryville NY, in the Poconos.

It's called the "Stickett Inn".

No, I'm not joking ---google it.

So much for the canard that gays are all classy and ...endowed...with cultural smarts.

I would bet that a large motivation for this is in fact an attempt to build a Muslim-less community for gays to live in.

About a decade a private group wanted to make a Catholic community like this in Florida.

Sometimes people self-sort without the need off planned communities.

...or hoax?

The top of your linked story now reads:

"Update: The Gay Village project's founders have revealed it to be a 'serious hoax', designed to raise awareness about homophobia in the Netherlands."

I.e., another instance of making shit up to prove how awful the world is.

But homophobia remains, with recent surveys showing nearly a quarter of gay men in the Netherlands feeling unsafe in their neighbourhoods.

Isn't the fact that a quarter of gay men feel unsafe in their neighborhoods actually an example of heterophobia?

Imagine a town that was set up to be a "Straight zone".

Would that be acceptable in the same way?

If not, why not?

Little Homopia. It's similar to Little China, Mexico, etc. It shouldn't be enforced.
