For the annals of viral advertising...

I'll happily carry the virus for "Hello Flo's Period Starter Kit":

Don't forget the Vagician!

Hysterical! Love it.

If all advertising was this good, I'd never mute another commercial.

Advertising DONE RIGHT!

Bravo to the writers and the creative minds that conceived this.

I don't watch click bait.

I'll guess that the father, if present at all in this video, is a joke and the Mom is perfectly made up.

Roughly 5-10% of the friends will be of color.

The Gift before the Gift. This was much better than The Bluest Eye.

I wonder if the Vagician knows the hide-the-salami trick?

Dumb. Excessively long. An advertisement for unfunny women at an advertising company, not actually the product. Other than that, great.

I've detected a decline in the quality of maxipads recently. They disintegrate quicker than they used to when used as bike helmet sweatpads.

You wind up with maxipad bits stuck to your forehead.

This would be Kroger house brand. I should check the country of manufacture...

It doesn't say. But I notice IMPROVED! Now Even Drier.

This has to be the problem.

Yeah, that was funny.

It's pretty amazing, how many companies get approaching the subject wrong,..

Glad I had boys instead of girls.

That which is seen can not be unseen.

Hilarious. The comedic delivery from the preteen girl actor is perfect. I forwarded this to a person I know who would totally get a uterus piñata for her own birthday if they made them.

Loved it. Just had to deal with this in my own house. All of us sixth grade moms had a good laugh at this video.

Refreshingly well done.

Or the Vagicam either.

Such fun.

Whatever happened to penis envy?

Well, I forwarded it. Did my part.

This is the dynamic of my sister and my niece - only she tortured her with the specter of a Red Party. I know how niece felt because she was my older sister and psych-bullied me in a very similar fashion. (We little sisters are scarred for life, you know.)

In my day it was your NP who had read "Our Bodies, Ourselves" in college and offered you a mirror with which to bond with your Teenaged Lady Parts.

Aieeeeeeeeee.

As bad as the family teasing would be, the well-intentioned, sucker-punch, surprise! institutional intimacy had a creepy element.

Also most dads are still quite awkward on the subject. It's usually women only, though obviously this was an ad and punishment to boot.

It's difficult to discuss menarche in a tactful, sensitive way that men can relate to. Better rather to not even try. Go for hyperbole and sight gags......I hope this ad agency gets the account for Depends. I bet they could do wonders with anal leakage.

I love the daughter's squirming away from her mother's touch at the end. It's so authentic.

My granddaughter turns 10 on the 29th so this is on the horizon. It was a funny ad and the girl actress did a good job. Dad only had a cameo appearance but it wasn't nearly as bad as how most men are portrayed in commercials. The male coworker offering her a pack of coffee filters came across as a bigger dope. In a era where ads seem to feature smart ass kids and idiot parents, it was funny to see how the mother was portrayed.

Having raised six daughters, I was wheezing with laughter all through this. Reposted it on FB. I agree w/the comments above: the young girl has great comedy chops, and the squirming away was so, so true to life.

Umm...both dad and the male coworker were in on the joke, and were doing their part to make the little girl's mortification all the greater. This was not an attempt to show either of them as "dopes." (Didn't you notice the mother's approving smirk at the gift of the coffee filters?)

at least you didn't say "from the annals..."

Okay! I loved it, tears in my eyes from laughing and a simple like or agree button just wouldn't cut it for this one.
