Meade encounters the "General Strike" guy with the wooden Scott-Walker-as-Pinocchio sign.

There wasn't much common ground.

Why is Steve McQueen invading Father Christmas' personal space?

Guys like this (the Pinocchio guy) are almost as lame as their erstwhile sisters in hippiedom who want to spell out PEACE with their naked bodies or throw those "Breasts Not Bombs" protests in San Fiasco.

The sign is all about penis envy.

You know, this doesn't stub out any of the support Governor Walker has!

And, it does look like the protesters numbers have dwindled drastically.

Is General Strike related to Major Chaos?

And what's written on Meade's hat?

Edutcher, I'm gonna spot the old guy a couple of new civility points for keeping his clothes on.

"And what's written on Meade's hat?"

That was a big issue back in the post with the guy with the bullhorn in Meade's face.

Meade said...

"Is General Strike related to Major Chaos? "

Yes, Peter. And of course they both have rank over Private Misery.

As to the protesters numbers droppers @Carol_Herman that is because we have all decided to spend our time in the districts of the Republican Senators who have been in office more than a year collecting signatures for their recall or otherwise putting our efforts towards such pleasant endeavors. You can enjoy thinking we've stopped caring, but you know it is not so...it's a the quiet simmering pot that will soon boil. :) But you have a nice day now.

I for one am glad to see that the nose on the Governor Walker poster is withering as Meade launches logical queries at today's Couckoo Cloudland protest guy. But I fear that Meade will be defrocked from Mr General Strike's Blog comments now.

Oh, you and your friends have been a boil for quite some time. A rather inflamed one, right on the ass of the state of Wisconsin. And you just got lanced.

"But you have a nice day now."

You too! Have fun trying to subvert the results of the last democratic election! It will keep you occupied for a while and you'll, happily, lose in the end. Too bad it, like so many other things that you do, will cost the taxpayers of Wisconsin so much money...

It's a garden gnome (the hat gives it away)

General Strike.

That's so quaint.

Poor fellow, please no one tell him even the Democratic Wisconsin senators have gone back to work.

Who is miserable because of Corporal Punishment.

I always thought 'General Protection' should be the spokesman for a brand of condoms, kinda like 'Trojan Man'.

If the girl ends up pregnant anyway, that would be General Protection's fault.

Yes, I'm a geek.

I REALLY like this picture. Even if I didn't know who Meade was, I'd say this really says something about the state of affairs in Wisconsin.

I keep thinking

They're both Boomers now on different sides of the issue. There has to be a picture from the 1960's from Madison that mirrors this image

We Boomers, yes we did eff up some things

KindaKath: "we have all decided to spend our time in the districts...."

We have, have we? All of you?

You wish. Have a nice week, and hope the lesson plans are going well.

The old man with the sign of the Walker 'Pinocchio' could be a perfect poster boy for 'Arrested Development', the state of mind...

I concur that many of these same people suffer from the same affliction.

New state slogan:

'Wisconsin, the Arrested Development state'.

Meade's sunglasses make it difficult to tell if he's talking to Walkerocchio or bandanaman

The guy looks like he's going to whack Meade with the thing.

That's obviously not Bashful or Happy. No glasses so it can't be Doc. I see no evidence for either Sleepy or Sneezy. I can't decide between Dopey or Grumpy.

He's in Madison and is a protester, JackofClubs. Dopey.
