You look piquant in your skirt and wool cap, Madame.

Getting any warmer up that way?

Yes, too warm! The snow is in danger of melting. It got above freezing today and will go up to 40 tomorrow. It's a shame because the last few days have been around zero... too cold to go out. And the huge snow we had 10 days ago has not been properly utilized!

OK, I know you hate it, but Herself hasn't been able to move for a couple of days, and I'm hoping the weather getting better will fix that.

Sorry.

Sad to say, the only utilization down here has been slipping and sliding on it.

Congrats on the anniversary, but how is it illegal to hang clothes?

(Or do I really want to hear this?)

Don't those skirts cause a lot of drag? Seems to me you are skiing with a parachute between your legs

There is an odd anticipation to these videos where Ann appears out of nowhere, sort of like waiting for a bird to come close or a plane to land; with an equally odd sense of satisfaction when she shows up in full gear, as if what's been waited for has finally arrived.

I fall for it every time. Even when I think I know how it's going to end.

My sister-in-law used to live in Hartland, WI, in a development that banned outdoor drying. Crazy. She had a psycho neighbor too, but finally moved when she was transferred out of state.

I haven't been using the line I have in the back yard because there's too much snow to get to it. We have lines in the basement that I use, until the stuff is nearly dry, then I put it in the dryer to finish it off.

At this point for me, that's a feature. I doubt that becoming more aerodynamic will ever be a goal of mine.

And the nice thing about a skirt is that there isn't any bulky fabric between your legs. So I have winter leggings underneath, but instead of having some sort of pants over top of them, I go with the skirt, which keeps me warm enough.

Ehh, I don't like to go too fast on XC skis either. They don't really have the edges for control that you get with downhill, and usually you're stuck in tracks anyway.

Funny the weather has been so similar to Madison in western Montana. Same temp fluctuation and its effects on the snow. I'd say 20 degrees would be perfect.
